About Word Order Facts
Word Order Facts is an independent reference site about the grammar of the world’s languages, written for language learners and curious readers. It is published by Chase Morgan.
The site turns the World Atlas of Language Structures into readable pages: a profile for each well-documented language, a map page for each feature, pages for the large language families and the six macro-areas, a tool that contrasts any two languages, and a set of field notes. The comparisons, ranks and maps are computed by this site from the WALS data; the coded values themselves are the work of the WALS authors and editors.

Corrections
If a value looks wrong, please check it against the WALS chapter first; we reproduce the coded values as published. Errors in our own calculations or wording can be reported through the contact page.
